Its the sport where the referees have the greatest effect on the game. And many calls are so hard to make because they happen so quickly and are so subjective.

In all honesty, I think we can say for sure that veterans/stars get better treatment. As far as teams -- home teams get better calls, I think.

But going as far as saying that games are actually fixed for individual teams, I am not so sure.............but having a ref implicated in a gambling scandal surely doesn't help matters.
