I simply get tired of any president doing such things. This has nothing to do with being a man of the people. Security keeps them away. All media stunts like this do is slow down other customers. It may or may not help the business.

At least he didn't need a teleprompter to order his burger.

How does Sean Hannity have a following?

How low does your self esteem have to be to watch his show and not be utterly insulted?

Seriously, if he brought this up in regular conversation to me I'd have to punch him in the face for thinking he could make me give a shit. Even if you're intellectually shallow enough to view politics as a competitive sport between two teams I would still think you'd find Sean Hannity a complete embarrassment as a figurehead for your side.

Maybe it's the alcohol talking tonight but I really want to beat someone after watching that video.

Relax, Oberman is on in 15 minutes. I'm sure he'll make you feel better.

See, that's the difference. We KNOW there are insanely slanted, leftist leaning reporters like Keith who have little objectivity and can often invoke unnecessary, overtly critical hyperbole to attack others for biased reasons.

But many of the right embrace the idiocy of the slop-feed that is Limbaugh, Hannity, etc. as honest truth with absolutely no thought to how stupid, intentionally divisive, hypocritical, or (most dangerously) hateful what's being stated is. You won't hear me talk Keith up in this forum, although he does occasionally make a good point. I'm not a screaming, smitten fan of his just because he has (only recently) supported the same candidates I do.

I'm not seeing the difference. When Colmes left the show Hannity has tried to insert some humour into his show and that's all this was. If you want to say he should leave the humour to comedians then I'm with you, but to feign being butthurt over this "attack" because a crappy blogger on Huffington told you to makes you no different than the Hannity followers.

Sean Hannity was doing a light humor jab at obama. I would trade grey poupon jokes for any of the barbs Bush got from the night shows, talkshows, and political shows, comedy shows he got all through his administration.

Man if they would have attacked bush like hannity attacked obama hear, man that would have been alot easier for Bush.

I have two problems with Hannity.

1) He tells his flock that his show is where to get the real news.
2) people call in an tell hannity that they only allow their children to listen to him to get the 'real' news'.

A couple of years back a college chick called in and spoke glowingly of Hugo Chavez because of a book she read for one of her classes. Of course this was red meat for hannity so he convinces the girl to call in the next day with her father to discuss her attraction to a socialist and why he, the father, pays for his daughter to learn Un American stuff like that.

The next day the dad calls in. Hannity asks him if he is upset and the guy saif no. Hannity then proceeds to tell him that any good parent would teach their kids the virture and goodness of America and that people like Chavez were anti-American..

The father responds that she needs to figure it out on her own and that she is young. He didn't necessarily agree with his daughter but honored her opinion and was pleased that she was engaged doing well in school. Of course Hannity challenged him that any good parent would set her straight.
The father responded in a way that exposed Hannity and his followers.

He said..(I'm paraphrasing).. It's not my job to tell my daughter how to think. She will develople her own identity and ideas and that it is a disservice to indoctrinate my child one way or another. He then added questioned, how is his daughter supposed to be able to interpret things in her life when her parents have 'already figured things out' for her? He wanted his daughter to figure things out on her own and trusted that in time she may not have such a high view of Chavez..

After that call I realized what a disservice all conservatives do to their children by allowing them to listen to the likes of Rush and Hannity. I have no problem with raising your children in a conservative household but to listen to these biased fools without any type of clarification that these are opinion shows. To allow a child to believe they are getting real news is totally unfair to that child....

Losers

BY the way I have a 6 yr old and I don't tell him conservatives are facists and that they hate the poor. If he chosses to engage in politics it is up to him whether he wants to be a Republican or a Democrat but I am not going to indoctrinate him with my views..

This is why I HATE most conservatives

This is so obvious, people.

Barack Obama is evil.

Therefore, we can discern that his ordering a certain kind of mustard on his burger demonstrates his evil. He's not a real human. He's a demon attempting to impersonate a human.

Remember the Terminator movies, where the humans could spot certain things in the Terminators that tipped them off that they weren't human? Hannity has that same skill.

Plus, Obama is black. Black people shouldn't even be eating normal white food, much less rich people food. Brotha should be stuck eatin' rib tips or ears or somethin'.

I say this is grounds for impeachment.

It does get ridiculous at times. Most of these talking heads do it. You have to sift through the garbage alot of the times. This is our society. Anderson Cooper said "it's hard to talk while you are tea bagging" I like Cooper but come on. Sift throught the shit and Cooper is pretty good at his job too. It all goes both ways.

Last time I ate burgers, at my wife's uncle's place, she dolled them up with spicy mustard, this pesto sauce, and three kinds of cheese, on a kaiser roll. They were delicious. I guess this goes to show I'm not conservative anymore. In addition to all the other rules the Republicans are adding, now the only acceptable condiments on hamburgers are catsup and barbecue sauce.

Oops, I screwed up again. Liberals spell it "catsup." Conservatives spell it "ketchup."

Question: in order to be conservative, is the only legal type of cheese that can go on the burger one of those processed cheese slices? What about the cheese sauce at Fuddrucker's? Is that subversive?

These are important issues for the Republican platform in 2012. I bet Sarah Palin only eats burgers with ketchup, with processed cheese slices, on the white buns that come in the 8-pack at Moose Mart.

In America you are free to believe what you want and in what you want and eat what you want and that is what being a TRUE American is all about. I hate that BS conservatives throw out that you are not American if you don't think and breath just like they do.

If you can find a bottle of B-S GC , you may not be sorry you paid $80 for a bottle of white wine.

All wine prejudices are solved by drinking more wine.

Slightly OT, but I can't drink all wines. I get a strange allergic reaction to some beers/wines, where my stomach screws up, my throat tightens up, and it feels like an alien is about to burst out of my stomach/chest.

I stick to hard liquor in girlie drinks. :)

Sean Hannity was doing a light humor jab at obama. I would trade grey poupon jokes for any of the barbs Bush got from the night shows, talkshows, and political shows, comedy shows he got all through his administration.Trade accepted. You can destroy all the evidence if you want.

Still sore, gtown?

I love how because Hannity says something, posters like jack and faith and yoni are all but contractually obligated to agree with him and even defend his statements, as per the, "We are the right, you are with us 100% of the time or against us 100% of the time schtick." It's amusing.

HAHAHA. You just say shit about people. Thats it. It must be so nice to stero-type everyone, to put them all in a little category. Man ur life must be shit. I'll act like you for a second.

I love how Cry Havoc agrees with Perez. He must be gay. "I suck dick so everyone else should suck dick" It's amusing how one can suck dick because someone else sucks dick. Obama says "No Earmarks" Cry believes him and claps his fag hands together ( I know he is a fag cause he listen to 100 percent what Perez says,so amusing) Obama has earmarks and what does Cry Havoc say now " Look what Bush did for 8 years"

The beat goes one with this assclown.

The Reaction To Dijongate (http://legalinsurrection.blogspot.com/2009/05/reaction-to-dijongate.html)

My two posts on the televised Obama/Biden burger joint visit and Obama's request for Dijon mustard, MSNBC Hides Obama's Dijon Mustard (aka Dijongate) (http://legalinsurrection.blogspot.com/2009/05/msnbc-hides-obamas-dijon-mustard.html) and Thou Shall Not Mock Obama's Mustard (http://legalinsurrection.blogspot.com/2009/05/thou-shall-not-mock-obamas-mustard.html), generated enormous reaction.

Neither of these posts was about mustard as such, but rather, the absurd extent to which the Obama administration went to create a "real guy kind of quality" image of Obama/Biden eating "Hell Burgers," and how MSNBC played along like a loyal worshipper through its coverage and editing.

Much of the first post and its updates were tongue-in-cheek to prove the point. It is beyond me how anyone could have thought I really cared that Obama used Dijon mustard in his Tuna Salad recipe, or that he had a Dijon mustard addiction. Did people really think I believed there was a "conspiracy of silence on Obama's allegience to Dijon Mustard"? I have said before, and repeat, that the first victims of liberalism are satire and irony.

But there was a serious overall point, being the absurd image control and media fawning. Needless to say, the nutroots portrayed the posts as being a complaint about the type of mustard Obama used. A useful device of distortion straight from the Media Matters playbook.

Seeing how my posts were distorted was not terribly surprising; that is how things go on the internet. The level of vitriol was something I knew existed, but had never personally experienced. As crazed as the published comments were, there were others I didn't publish telling me to kill myself and do other things, and plenty of bizarre e-mails. All of these people made fools of themselves.

The reaction proved one thing I already knew: The cult of personality surrounding Obama is real. And many of the cultists are demented, dangerous or both.

I also knew the mainstream media was biased, but the article written by The Canadian Press reporter Lee-Ann Goodman set a new low. Ms. Goodman e-mailed me that she agreed that the main issue was Obama's image control, but her article went in the opposite direction. Another reason why people don't trust reporters.

Through this episode, I also have learned the following:

* The nutroots move in crowds
* The nutroots mistake anonymity for bravery
* The nutroots consider distortion an art
* The nutroots preach tolerance to mask intolerance
* The nutroots are unhappy people who hate happy people
* The nutroots have no originality and hate original thoughts
* The nutroots need new enemies daily
* The nutroots do not know any of the above
* The mainstream media is no better
* Starting this blog was necessary, for all of the above reasons
* Continuing this blog is even more necessary, for all the above reasons
I'll probably add this guy to the places from which I plagiarize...he's good.

Stimulus Stagnates

While the federal government is expanding at an astounding rate, state governments are making painful cutbacks because the stimulus isn't working. The Washington Post reports that the stimulus bill won't save many state employees from the nation's unemployment lines because state governments are slashing jobs like crazy.

Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, who has already cut 1,000 state jobs, just got rid of another 250. The state of Arizona no longer investigates all claims of child abuse because it has cut so many social service jobs.

According to The Post, "As the stimulus plan was being drawn up, there was agreement... that a key goal was to keep states from making big layoffs at a time when 700,000 Americans were losing their jobs every month."

So even by their own measurements, the stimulus is failing. Do you think President Obama will come out and tell us that any time soon?

Another dose of intellectual dishonesty from Hannity. Why does he equate the stimulus to states cutting back?

Of course he uses a quote (not even a full one) from a paper he regularly dismisses as being dead because of their admiration of Obama.. yet this liar has masses waiting to hear the real news.. what losers...

Winehole23
