View Full Version : Spurs vs. Hawks March 25th -- How Many Rebounds Will Nazr Get?

Nazr Mohammed is playing his former team. He's coming off of a tongue lashing from Pop after last game. He's been slow to adjust to the team, shooting less than 40% from the field as a Spur. Can he bounce back against Atlanta and do the thing he does best -- rebound? How many will he get? Place your bets.

Also predict the final score. A correct prediction wins a prize.

the game vs Atlanta is a test for determination of how far the Spurs wants to go this season. if win < 10 points, can consider it a loss since the red-hot Hoston Rockets (who recently end Miami's winning streak) is coming next.

Not relevant to the Nazr's rebounding numbers, but I just looked up Nazr's free throws taken and made and I found some incredible stats regarding his attempts and Rasho's.

In 62 games, Rasho has only taken an incredible 27 free throws. In 9 games with the Spurs, Nazr has taken 30 free throws. 3 more then Rasho has taken in 52 fewer games. That's unreal.

LJ and I were talking about that, too. That's incredible to me and epitomizes Rasho's lack of aggression around the basket.

Rasho still gets most of the minutes so Nasr only gets 6-8 with a decent overall game.

In an upset the Hawks beat the injured Spurs: 79-76.

I can't believe I bet $100 on Nazr getting 12 boards tonight...I am an idiot. I gotta stop listening to and being open minded with the stupid people that tell me this guy is a competitive Center...he's not...he's a back up C for a lottery team type player...that doesn't seem to have any clue what to do on the court if it doesn't involve a ball he has just o boarded. I'd rather have Amal Mcaskill or Mengke Batter back...at least Mengke was lucky.

Nazr really did drag the team down in the third quarter tonight. He's beginning to look like a taller Malik with no outside shot. Has he actually made a bucket for us yet after upfaking one or more times?

The one positive thing though is Nazr really makes me appreciate Rasho's defense a lot more.

Exactly.

Nazr is pretty much Malik without anything close to a jumper, without as much energy, without as much defensive ability ... but with like four inches on him.

So So disapointing. Where is the second coming of Hakeem I was told to expect?

Keep the hate Manny...don't let anyone even begin to convince you this guy is as good as Malik was...it can cost you precious Vbucks....

Dude, you know am not swaying from the Malik corner. If we don't win the title next year, I'm going to blame it this fucking trade.

Oh, and it already has cost me several hundred vbookie bucks. I've lost more on Nazr than I did on Kerry. Fucker.
