Even after he threw game 2, benching a red-hot Landry so he could have Scola stink it up the whole game?

Good coach, but if Yao wasn't hurt then none of this would of happened.

exactly. No way he should have gotten it, and he coaches my team. He is a falt out idiot some times.

He's a flat out idiot on in game substitutions and adjustments. He's good when he's making between game adjustments. He should have picked up that the second unit was giving the Lakers all kinds of problems and played the small ball unit more.

Landry just 11 minutes tonight? I thought he would play close to 30 with Yao out.

See, all he had to do was change the lineup some more? Small ball hurts the lakers and Hayes takes away Pau's effectiveness. This only happened because he was forced to.

why play landry when you win this big?he is the problem unless brooks scores 40 every night

Well Landry was doing good cutting to the basket and getting dunks when he was in. His midrange shot was a bit off. Don't know why Barry isn't getting any burn this series. We could use his three point shooting.

They all (Pop, KFC, Byron, Larry Brown, Rivers & Sloan) make mistakes. Have i missed anyone?

Rick's been the head coach for 600+ wins the NBA. The fuzz on his Hitler-stache knows more basketball than any fan.

No he doesn't, his mere prescence on the court makes any team's ball movement better.

Barry was at worst the Spurs' 3rd best player against LA last year in the WCF. I know it's not saying a lot considering how bad the rest of the supporting cast was, but he gave the Lakers hell. I'd play Barry over Wafer any day. Great passer, great range, good handles, and a quick release on his jumper. He's a turnstile on D though.

Wafer is good for making hard cuts to the hole. Wafer is a black hole on offense though. Ball goes in and doesnt come back out. Wafer is streaky on his three pointers.

Barry is smart, he passes the ball and has a very good offensive mind. He would give the Rockets a different look like Steve Novak. Barry plays better defense than Novak too. The way the ball was hopping around today, Barry would have had more than his share of open looks and he would have drilled his shots.

By the way, both Wafer and Barry are open sieves on D but at least Barry is a vet and has some veteran tricks up his sleeve.

.....

Last year...but that the Rockets can continue to win and even be dominant to an extent is a testament to great coaching.

Mike Brown was the correct choice since the Cavs improved by 21 wins from a season ago.

Doc Rivers is a close runner up guiding the Celtics to over 60 wins considering the injuries the Celtics had to endure.

I've got Adelman in third.

I thought Adleman was the coach of the year (http://layupdrill.com/2009/04/my-nba-post-season-award-winners/)before this playoff run but I understand and am ok that Mike Brown won it.
