View Full Version : Celtics vs Magic, Game 4 in Orlando

LnGrrrR

Will the Celtics play like beasts, as in Game 2, or will they roll over and get stomped as in Game 3?

I'm sure each coach has made some adjustments... now it's up to the players on the court to fulfill their roles.

Game on!

Blah. Crappy ticky-tack calls on both sides already today. I'm a homer but that last call on Howard was BS.

Mavs<Spurs

Orlando getting outrebounded by the Celtics (Ronda's got 9 rebounds).

And shooting below 40% and letting the Celtics shoot 50% is not helping the Magic's chances.

Hedo not shooting well. Dwight shooting 42% from the field so far.

Mavs<Spurs
05-10-2009, 08:47 PM
Paul Pierce on fire in this game.

Ray Allen, however, has not made much of an imprint upon this game.

The Celtics can't seem to get both of them going in the same game.
If they could, it sure would make things easier for them.

Mavs<Spurs
05-10-2009, 08:50 PM
Celtics want this game more than the Magic.

That's the problem with winning a game. The other team becomes more motivated and you become satisfied, complacent and less motivated.

I agree with the poster above: Celtics win this in a close game.
I want the Magic to win, but the Celtics are my pick to actually win this game.

If Celtics win this game, then they probably win the series.
If the Magic win this game, then it is anybody's series.

Orlando needs some offensive help. I know the celt´s D is good, but garnet is not there so they should be tearing it up. Seems like they´re just brickin´3s all night with an occasional feed to Dhow. This team has too much talent to not be tearing the celts apart in orlando.

Amazing how productive Ronda is with no jumper - assists in abundance, 2nd best rebounding guard in league after Kidd, gets points by layups, good defensive player.

I don't think there's a team in the league that would win 50% of it's games without it's two primary point guards. Maybe L.A., because their points are pretty sucky anyway.... other than that, I don't see any team being effective.

Reddick wide open look and missed.

Johnson bricked a 3 earlier.

Reddick's sole skill is making 3's and he's not doing anything tonight !

90-84, still Orlando ball - a little over 5 remaining.

Anthony Johnson at the line. missed first ft, missed second, Howard got the rebound, Orlando scored, 90-86 .

20 sec to by Celtics, Perkins hurt shoulder (previously injured shoulder).

That game 4 win saved the Celtics season. They're gonna win this thing in seven. I just can't see a team (Orlando) nearly blowing a 28 point lead in game 1 winning again in Boston.

I'm even crazy enough to think that the Celtics can win their 3 in Boston and somehow steal one at the Q when they get the Cavs :toast.
