After beating the Lakers last night with a blowing out win, the Rockets have tied this series at 2-2 to make this series a 3 game run. The only difference is the Rockets have already lost both of their 7 footers in Deke and Yao, now they have got no one above 7 foot. However, it may not be totally a bad news for Rockets.

Just as the game reflected at toyota center last night, the Lakers lost to a Rockets team which had nearly 40m-worth players sidelined, by over 10 points. But the final score was really very decieving to those who didn't watch that game, as the Lakers played much worse than the score may induce them to think.

The Rockets once had a big leading gap in the 3rd quarter, as wide as 29 points. Although the Lakers gleaned some points in the 4th quarter, which may give them some stuff for a meaningless argument, anyway that game was absolutely a blow out.

Although Pau Gasol collected 30 points last night, most of his points were just on-sale items he picked up in the garbage time. Actually Pau Gasol was totally dominated by Chuck Hayes who only earns half of an MLE.

However, it was not a deny of yao's or Pau's value, it was just a typical example of the old circle relation "scissors, stone and cloth". Chuch Hayes is just a professor major in coping with soft PFs or Centers, no matter how long they are taller than him. With the size of a normal small forward, Chuck Hayes has been appearing on the 4 spot since he became a paticipant of this league, last night he even got promoted to the center position.

Chuck didn't get plentiful minutes in the regular season, but he did pretty satisfying jobs in the playoffs, last night he did a good job once again on Pau Gasol. The lack of offensive skills often make his opponents leave him wide open in offense, but he always shows them how to play defense on the other end of the floor.

But Chuck Hayes isn't like the prime Ben Wallace who can lock up any kind of center or PF, or any other player intending to drop points in the paint. Chuch is the anti-weapon to those soft players, no matter how big they are or how many skills they have, being soft is quite enough for any player to be a victim under chuck's tough defense.

Relatively, Chuck is just like a skin pot for those powerful centers and PFs. For the players with power, it's very easy to drop points and grab rebounds over Chuck's head, however rough they are. Even a player who is not very good at offense will dominate him very easily, only if his muscles are strong enough.

I'm not sure how serious Bynum's injury is, or it's just Phil Jackson wants to reserve him for Mavs/Nuggets in the WCF. But the time does comes to suit up Bynum and let him get some warm up for the upcoming WCF. Phil has no other option except starting Bynum and put Pau on PF where he feels more comfortable, as it's very unknown if Odom is still fit to play games, or whether he is still willing to appear on court in purple&golden jersey.

Believe.
