Probably the last game of the season for our boys in blue tonight.

But I wont be terribly upset, it was a good year all things considered. It seems like a distant memory somewhat but people tend to forget how bad the Mavs looked in November and December and really all the way up until the end of January.

Looked like a 35 win team early in the year, and a 45 win team even halfway through the season.

Started 2-7 with blown leads, blowout losses, etc.

It's an underrated in season improvement, probably the biggest in season movement outside of the Thunder.

I thought it was pretty classless how the Nuggets started to run the score up with less 2 minutes left in the game but George Karl is their coach so I'm not surprised. I think the Mavs knew they weren't going to win tonight. They tried to come back from a huge deficit but it wasn't meant to be. lol, up 10 with 2 mins to go isnt a sure thing. the way the mavs have been hitting the 3pt basket in the 2nd half, it wasnt a guarantee. they led by 10 with 2 mins, and it ended with a 14 pt win, with 2 fts by JR off a foul by a mav player and the dunk by Kmart. from 10 pts to 14 pts, i dont know how you define/consider that as "running up the score".

if you notice, on the alley oop (jr to kmart) lots of mav starters were still there (dirk, terry, and kidd didnt come out til less than a minute left). anything can happen in the nba (10 point lead with 3 minutes left is still not a sure thing) so we made sure to close it out. we didnt run up the score. and if the mavs knew they were going to lose they have nothign to complain about.
