Saw the thread on Deron Washington and was reminded of this guy. Not advocating signing him or anything, just thought I'd start a conversation between fellow basketball junkies who like to talk about guys who once played for the Spurs and lit up SpursTalk for a while.

Looks like he actually had a really good stretch of games in the EuroCup earlier this year. In 11 games he averaged 21.6 points, 4.5 assists, and 2.1 steals per game, shooting 64.7% from the field and 53.6% from 3-point range.

Apparently he was playing for Galatasaray Cafe Crown, a team based in Istanbul, Turkey. The stats above earned him First Team honors in the All-EuroCup awards.

I'm just piecing this information together. If anyone else has more complete information on his various adventures, please post. :toast

Edit: Hmmm...not sure why this thread showed up in the main Spurs forum. I figured it was in the Think Tank. Apologies for cluttering up all the important threads on the front page. :)

He played in my country last year.

He runs the floor very well a quick PG and he can shoot. But he turns the ball often and sometimes he can handle the control of the game. He's not an NBA class PG yet.

:lol, Certainly not. :) Random discussions of various players with little Spurs-related meaning are common in the Think Tank. Not sure why this thread isn't in there.

I know a guy from Macedonia. Great Guy. He's a hardcore Ginobili fan. He teach me how to say "Eat S@*t" in his native tongue.
