1. Kobe and Artest got tangled with each other. Kobe threw up his arms to say "I'm not doing anything - it's all Ron." (The exact same thing he did when got Artest ejected after the elbow.)
2. So Artest raised both of his arms in the air to make sure he didn't get nailed with a cheap whistle.
3. While Artest is standing with both hands in the air, Kobe charged directly into him. Kobe clearly could have gone around Artest, or at least attempted to. Instead, he went straight into Artest. You have to conclude that he intended to make contact.

When I watch the clip, I see Kobe bending his knees, and lunging into Artest with the top part of his body. And if you pause at the 26 second mark, you can see their heads touching. Maybe Kobe didn't intend to head-butt Artest, but that's what he did. It might not deserve a suspension, but a T seems warranted - just to stop the bullshit, if nothing else.

There was no head butt. Its been shown many times. Just as Kobes elbow never hit Ron Rons throat in the prior altercation.
