Should be a good day of basketball but there will be no surprises. The Rockets will go into the Staples Center, do what they're supposed to do, and win the series and get ready for the Western Conference Finals with the Nuggets. I'm not sure why people are talking about if this would be the greatest upset in NBA history. It wouldn't be an upset to begin with. When teams go out and just do what they're supposed to do, there are no upsets and there are no surprises. I called it a long time ago that the Lakers are a jump-shooting team. When they don't make shots, they don't win games. They don't play defense. I think LA just expected the Rockets to come out and not play, much like the majority of their regular season opponents did (65 times). Sorry LA, but by the playoffs you're actually expected to play some real basketball, not just shoot some jump shots. I fully expect the Rockets to win this series.

I don't know who Dwight Howard thinks he is but he will just be going home in the 2nd round again. Dwight Howard is the worst player to ever win the DPOY. Nothing much to say about this game other than the defending champion Boston Celtics will win this game pretty easily, by 15-20 points.

Again, the Rockets over the Lakers will NOT be an upset. It will be just like any other playoff series win by any other team. Nothing personal against the Lakers, but they're just not that good. The Celtics, Spurs, Nuggets, Jazz, and Rockets are better teams. The Lakers are the sixth best team in the NBA but the team with the most favorable home scheduling and most favorable officiating. That's where the 65-17 came from.

The thing that is saving the Lakers here is homecourt advantage. If Houston wants this enough it will be a close game if not Lakers will win.

And I agree with robbie380. Best thing to do is count the Rockets out. They won't do shit in LA.

I'm expecting the Rockets coming out on Sunday and just doing what they were expected to do. I'm pretty sure Marcus Camby won DPOY once so that would negate Dwight Howard from being the worst player to recieve the award.

Lakers and Celtics both win by double digits on Sunday.

Celtics/Magic are pretty evenly matched, so we might see a close game. I wouldn't bet against the Celts home cooking in a game 7, however.

Rockets are playing above their heads against the superior lineup of the Lakers. If the Lakers come out shooting 60 - 70% in the 1st, it's over. Rockets cannot afford to fall behind by 8-10 points in the first.

I just hope we see some good basketball and don't have the usual BS officiating drama the comes with playing the Lakers in the playoffs. Let's see what kind of outrageous free pass they can get this year, eh?
