I just don't know, I don't think the Magic are mentally tough enough to have to win a road game and will all 3 of their home games. I think if they had Jameer Nelson they would have a good shot at winning, but a team that relies on Hedo Turkoglu to create in the last minutes of the game is not going to win many close series.

Nobody's going to stop Dwight Howard in the paint when these two teams meet. Courtney Lee is not that bad of a defender, he won't stop Lebron, but will make him work for his shots. Hedo is doing fine, he just needs to look for Lewis when he's open in clutch situations.

Go Boston. I wanted Orlando all the way when the series started, but after watching 6 games of them jacking up bad threes I don't want to see any more of it after tonight. I hope the Celtics win in a rout and Van Gundy's incompetent ass gets fired so we can see some decent form of basketball out of this team next season.

That's another reason to go for Boston: so we can see Garnett pouting on the bench when they're eliminated from the playoffs on their home court in game 4.

The ECF will be 5 games or less for the Cavs if they get the Magic. I laugh at people who think they will be so tough. They rely on their 3 point shot. When those 3's are being contested, Orlando will fall apart. Cavs D will literally suffocate them. When Howard isnt able to get deep in the paint, he is going to be ineffective. Orlando would be a much easier draw than Boston.

Cavs don't have the personnel to stop Howard....if they double Howard, the Magic rain 3's.

That's how they beat the Cavs by 40.

Lakers don't want any part of the Magic either, there's no shame in that.

Howard doesnt have a low post game. Keep him away from the basket and he becomes a nonfactor. We have Bigman who can do that. Cavs D will suffocate the shit out of Orlando's O. Boston even without KG would be a tougher draw than the Magic.

Bigmen in 35 year old BigZ and Ben Wallace versus 25 year old Dwight? They lost by 40.

But it's too early to argue it, let's wait and see. I'd personally like the Lakers to face the Cavs or Celtics rather than the Magic.

Rockets were close in all their losses, they could have won those games. Lakers never put a 40 point beating on them like the Magic put on the Cavs.

You hope we dont get it done. Your sorry team needed 7 games to beat a depleted undersized rocket team. That is unacceptable for a so called elite team. Their D still sucks. Bynum needed Yao to get hurt to have 2 decent games at home. The kid is mentally weak and cant handle playoff pressure on the road. Gasol finally took advantage of the Rockets undersized bigs. He wont be getting that luxary the next 2 rounds. If you punch LA, they are scared to punch back. Lucky for them the Rockets injuries caught up to them.

That's the conventional wisdom.

But the Lakers have pretty much been under-achieving all year long and ended up with 65 wins. They have been lazy on defense and jacked off for most of the Playoffs and they're still in the WCF.

They'll play sub-par versus the Nuggets but yet again they'll win.

Lakers should have been out of the Playoffs by now, but they're not because they just have too much talent to lose. Any other team playing lazy defense like the Lakers would have been swept in round 1.

That 13-point lead is an illusion. Huge Magic choke coming up. Celtics got this, no worries.

we just need turkoglu to make a 3 and taunt KG

I hope this happens.

No wait! I hope Howard taunts Rondo the way KG taunts other point guards

pietrus is playing nice, totally D'ed up allen on one possession, i would keep him in the game the rest to blanket allen. The c's have one more run in them, should be interested to see if the magic don't curl up like in previous games...pierce doesnt look right this game.

true, allen was running red dick and everyone else to death.

It's easy to sleep well when you root for the Lakers.

We'll find out in June.

I have a feeling we'll find out a lot earlier than that. But good luck. :toast

Orlando has been the far better team in this series. The Celtics have been somewhat lucky to even stretch this series this far.

does pierce just throw his body into guys, and get the call, 100 percent of the time now...i hate watching him play, that is all he does, when he is tired...i really think the nba should change the rules on offensive players who initiate the contact and arent really looking for the shot, other than the fact they are moving in the general direction of the rim...hard to watch

With how tough the NBA is now - it's easy to see why it's so hard for a team to repeat. Everything has to go just right the whole season and the team has to stay healthy. And that didn't happen with the Celtics this year.

Spur fans need to cool it with the smack talk.

You got eliminated by the Mavericks in the 1st round. You are in no position to talk shit to anyone outside of maybe the Thunder. Even that is shaky at best considering their future is probably brighter.
