I guess if you don't get laid often, it might be worth the hassle. But otherwise, it seems pretty easy to find a woman that isn't living with another man.

1.) Are the kids his? (or any of them) If so, then it's not exactly cool, but if you don't care, then do it.

2.) This depends really about how much you actually care about the situation. Some may try to interject and refer to "right and wrong", but in the end these sorts of things are subjective without law. You seem to have some degree of care invested into this because you are asking for advice. So i'm not sure you should bother with her. Unless she's undeniably attractive. But something tells me after a few kids that's just not the case. Or, if you are in serious need of getting your nut off.

It may show to be uncomfortable if you have to interact with the guy after sexual encounters with the lady, but again, if you don't care, then do it.

I personally would not. Reasons being:

1.) I wouldn't want to fight a guy over his misdirected anger. Then i'm responsible for something I would end up doing to him.

2.) IMO, random people aren't worth this much intellectual investment in matters such as these.

3.) I like to start fresh without baggage whether or not it's short term engagement (With or without importance), or long term engagement (With or without importance).
