On Wednesday, Budinger met privately with executives from the Jazz, the Pacers, the Grizzlies and the Nuggets. Thursday's schedule included the Celtics, the Bobcats, the Heat, the Thunder, the Mavericks and the Hawks. On Friday, it was the Hornets, the Rockets, the Lakers and the Spurs.

the brent barry comparisons seem pretty accurate. hard to see him drop to the second round.

Wow. Those are long arms. Good shooting mechanics was what I read from DraftExpress.

Actually, he has short arms. Noticeably short.

Budinger/Barry is very apt. He won't be around in the 2nd.

IMO, Joe Ingles has a similar game, but is a better ball handler and will be a better player. And the Spurs should be able to get him later in the draft.

Budinger was considered a top four High School prospect (High School class of 2006) behind Greg Oden, Kevin Durant, and Brandan Wright.

Draft Express now has Chase Budinger falling to the 2d round (#32) only 5 picks before the Spurs' #37 pick.

I read somewhere that he looked like crap at one of the workouts.

That can lead to bargains.

If he's there when we pick, I'm game.

He's almost someone you have to pick if he's there at 37.

I would have never imagined him dropping to the Spurs, but if for some reason he does, I think you take him.

Sean would have a field day

If the Spurs drafted Budinger, I think it's safe to say that Sean will only wear Arizona colors during the tv broadcasts

Budinger is very talented, and if he's there at 37 you pretty much HAVE to take him.

This is the Spurs however :lol
