if you copy dvds that are copyrighted yes
but not all dvds have copyrighted laws on them
but so is copying vhs tapes and people do it all the time
so is putting microsoft office)microsoft os) on more then one computer unless you buy it for each of your computers

Why would you pay for software when there is freeware that does a much better job like DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink

Was this blurb written 4 years ago? DVD burners are now around $60 and you can get DVD-R's for 20cents/each, so copying video to CD-R's in 2005 makes no sense

Yeah, this seems kind of dumb, especially since you can not only get a DVDR but a dual layer one for under 75 bucks.
