"Sometimes, when getting ready to anchor the 10 pm sports segment, I'd get a call or a note from my producer asking if I could take an extra 30-45 seconds off their hands. My immediate response would be to ask myself two questions: 1) Are the Cavs playing tonight? 2) Will the highlights come down in time for me to edit them in time for the show? If the answer to both questions was "yes," then I'd take the extra time. Because Lebron James seemed to do something amazing every night and every game this season. THAT'S why he was the MVP."
