it would be a criminal offense to knowingly sell contaminated meat.

did you eat a lot of contaminated meat as a kid?

it's always nice and clean in there, but everything seems to be about 5% higher than WalMart.

I've gotten steaks there before that were on sale but never got any ground beef.

I got desperate one time and got some ground beef from walmart. I'm pretty sure I lost 6 months of my life after eating that crap.

The burgers were a weird grey color and were dripping with some kind of slime.

HEB ground beef all the way from here on out or nothing.

That's where I buy all my meat ...

Although there was one time I bought some stew meat. It looked great, got home and started to make beef stew and the chunks of meat on the bottom were brown and smelly ... I took it back and got a refund.

No problems other than that one time.

Costco has great meat...I buy my ribs and pork loins there and they usually have the best selection of lamb in SA.

Do you have to have a membership to get into Costco like Sams?

Do you have to have a membership to get into Costco like Sams?

yeah, the membership is a little more than Sams but mine gives me cash back at the end of the year...plus Costco is like 10X as good as Sams when it comes to food...

I love salmon from Costco. I shop at Target a lot, but not for groceries. However last summer I found 1.5lb salmon fillets on alder planks for $9.99 there. The salmon was fine and love my planks!

yes.

$50 for the standard and $100 for the executive in which you get.....2% back on purchases I think....plus a few extra benefits like coupons in the mail and such.....and that paid for 2 cards for me and the wife.

I'm jealous.

Moved up to PA 4 years ago - butchers up here don't even KNOW what I mean when I say "Packer Brisket" - then they want $3.00 a lb!!! for the over-trimmed, too small hunk they want to sell me. Fortunately Wal-Mart gets the correct type every now and again - but not choice, at all. I've had to get pretty good in order to satisfy the family's jones for "Real" bbq.

Club Richer exists because we know how to hold on to our dinero.

Hand me a coin and I'll hold it so tight it'll flatten better than a penny on a railroad track.

My friend is the Meat Market manager and a damn good meat cutter at an HEB store. He's been cutting meat for more than 20 years. I just go to his store, have him cut me some shit and mark it way the fuck down, then when he gets off work we throw a BBQ. Do it almost every weekend. Its good to have a hookup :toast
