:rollin:lol:lmao this is freaking awesome. This dude is a backsmith and makes swords. He decided to actually make the ridiculously proportioned buster sword that Cloud used in Final Fantasy 7 and then actually tried to use it. The sword weighs in at 46 pounds and is solid steel.

Cloud's strenghf stat is like 50. So he can use that sword easily, I mean he spins it for shit's sake. The thing is Cloude is not musuclar at all, but he must be hella strong to use the Buster sword. (Yeah i know it's a game, but still lol)

Also in the game manual that his Buster Sword can cut almost anything in two. There goes that.

I wonder if one of the guys from the Strong Man competitions could wield that thing.

I'd like to see Magnus Samuelsson try it just to actually see what true damage that sword could do. :lol

I used to sell all kinds of FF sword replicas until Square Enix threatened to sue me, they took one of my domains from me too but paid me $60.

The best part of the video is the first time he runs up to the wood screaming at the top of his lungs, it almost looks like he actually might pull off defying the laws of physics but then the sword kind of just falls forward :lol

I also like the way the camera shakes on each hit.

I'd start watching the WSM competition if they made that an event.

You have to remember, this is all based on a smaller world. There is less gravity. That's apparent by how they can jump, lift heavy objects, and carry hundreds of items with them!

My week would have been complete if he'd only been able to pull of the sword-twirling victory pose.

we have a huge pry bar we use at work, it probably weighs about 40 lbs, trying to swing it like a baseball bat is humanly impossible, its like the one arnold swings around that factory in T2, they must use a fake one in the movie because you would have to a strong man with a vulgar display of power to swing shit like that with control, its your hands and wrists that wont let you

cbf i can beat you at least 55% of the time in SFII, except ryu v ryu, its nearly impossible to beat ryu with ryu, and chun li v chun li, its hard as hell to beat chun li with chun li
