McGrady said afterward that he was slowed by a right hip strain suffered in Friday night's win in New Orleans. He was listed as questionable before the game, but ended up playing 44 minutes and taking 25 shots.

"I didn't feel as quick as I wanted to today," he said. "I wasn't holding back because I wanted to. I had no choice."

Would the Spurs have someone on their team that admitted to quitting on there previous team?

you know im sick of people coming in here tell us this shit.

I will hate, because Mcgrady is a puss.

He folded under pressure today, AS USUAL, like he ALWAYS DOES, and will in the playoffs.

Example??

2 years ago against Detroit, "Itll be nice to go to the second round"

Tracy is one of the FEW elite players in this league that actually has respect for this team. He praises Bruce numerous times on his defense, and even today he told the media that Bruce and Manu are top competitors and know what it takes for their team to win.

Tracy was seriously injured the other night, you don't think that he is feeling ANYTHING from the effects of that injury that would affect his game? It's ridiculous to think it wouldn't have an affect on his game. And he still scored 26 on us...he's not a puss...he's tough.

Yao gave no excuses.

“(The Spurs’) confidence is higher than ours. They were more competitive than us today. We could have given ourselves a chance by reducing our turnovers."

One of the games earlier this season, I think it was on ABC or TNT, whover Cheryl Miller reports for. She asked him (during halftime) about what he thinks of Bruce's defense. He said he's a great defender, one of the best, and that he looks foward to the challenge of facing Bruce each time they meet.

Plus we were all "GO MANU, even though your hurt, you keep trying" a few games back when he said he was frustrated because he kept trying and trying through the pain but his body didnt do what he wanted it to. I dont see why this is any different.

Yes I remember that, but he never said anything about Manu.

I don't care if T-Mac was hurting - you don't complain about it to the press as the reason you didn't perform better and thus lost.

Suck it up and keep quiet.

Yes he mentioned today that Manu was a top competitor in this league and knows what it takes to win...I'll try to dig you up a link in a little bit.

T. McGrady F 38 15-21 3-6 11-16 0 6 6 4 2 5 0 1 44

His line from tonight, the second game of a B2B. If he were injured, could he put up numbers like this after a subpar performance in SA?

You weren't injured, Tracy, you were OWN3D.
