lol............

Dwight Howard averages a lot of fouls per game. He averaged 3.5 fouls per game in the regular season. So it's not a suprise that he might foul out. Some of the calls on him were legit, others weren't. But the posts I see on her mainly by Laker fans and some Spur fans (obvious Lebron haters) in regards to the officiating is laughable and ridiculous.

I don't get how the officiating is bad in this game.

The Magic have 15 personal fouls WHILE the Cavs have 19 personal fouls. The only real point of contention is a foul or two on Howard, but Howard readily fouls because he is a big man who lives inside the paint, so seeing Howard foul out with a bunch Cleaveland driving in the paint is not a suprise.

Also the Cavs have only shot 3 more FT's.

You were right, some calls were spot on, and some were VERY iffy if you paid close attention....nevertheless, Magic win.

3 of his fouls were on the offensive end. that was the big deal cause they were of flops

Embarrassing that the Cavs couldn't win this game.

Giftwrapped by the refs in the 1st half, half of D12's fouls were phantom calls. Just embarrassing.

We may be looking at the next NBA champions right now. This ORL team found something in themselves in that BOS series. You can only choke for so long until you either give up or learn from it and grow stronger. Very happy for Stan to redeem himself and his team like that.

ORL is a team I would not mind losing to. They play ball the right way, all players play team ball and they play defense each night.

I hope LeBron is okay, or this series is over.

I hope Cleveland doesn't lose this series cause they can take out LA but I don't know about the Magic. Howards a beat, Hedo and Lewis are clutch and teabagged the fuck out of everyone at that arena.

Magic proved they are a formiddable foe for the Lakers....they proved it IN LA and Laker fans know it. If you go into the "Q", withstand the Cavs drive, and have your best player/rebounder foul out as LeBron comes on you can beat the Lakers.

Problem with the cavs is lebron has to do everything for them. Score, pass, rebound, defend. It was too much for him tonight. Orlando's talent is more spread out to where they don't have to kill any one player.

turiaf for president
05-20-2009, 10:43 PM
i think orlandos game plan is just let lebron go off but hold everyone else. lebron's supporting cast played horrible. same for the cavs. seems like they let howard get his own and they try to hold everyone else. only thing is lewis is too quick for varajao

td4mvp21
05-20-2009, 10:44 PM
1. Cavs' role players (Williams, West, Z/bench) play terrible and miss shots they normally make.
2. Cavs play no defense sans the first quarter.
3. Cavs get outrebounded.
4. Magic go 9-20 from threes.

And Orlando only wins by 1....Cavs should be fine. I will start to take Orlando seriously if they win Game 2.

Can someone tell me has Kobe ever had 49, 7, 8 in any playoff game from 2005-2007 when he had about the same help Lebron James had.

You can even include 2008 as well if you want.

I think the Cavs have more to worry about than the Magic.

Especially considering the Cavs haven't come close to winning in ORL.

Lol @ SVG saying basically, "I don't know what to do about LeBron."

SVG knows that he doesn't necessarily have to have a plan for dealing with Lebron. Why? Because one man cannot often beat a team. No matter how great he is. That's why a player is freakishly dominant as Wilt Chamberlain only managed to win 2 rings.

E20
05-20-2009, 11:09 PM
No the problem is that the rest of the Cavs team didn't show up. Resulting in Lebron taking in the load like he did the previous two years.

I mean if your next best player in the game was Anderson Varejao then you're fucked.

Mo, West, and Z (to an extent) need to nut up and show up.

Props to the Magic but it's only one game. If the Cavs lose game 2, then they're in trouble. I do think that Lebron missing those 4 free throws cost the Cavs the game. You gotta make your free throws if you're considered a great player and the MVP of the league.

Just a few things

1. Regular season and matchups obviously matter! My oh my I was right!

2. You bandwagon cav fan-tards riding Lebron's overhyped jock are pathetic. How does it feel that your slobbering cock licking went for nothing. :lol :lol

3. After reading through the 20+ pages of this, I have a little new found respect for the laker fans in here, they at least support their team through thick n thin, unlike the aformentioned cock lickers.

4. When even the laker fans can see the total travesty of officiating that transpired tonight, you know its bad. Props to the laker fans. You guys are exactly right... Stern and co. are obviously is pulling for Lebron now, and Kobe is second banana (or even worse). You can probably thank Trevor, Kobe and DFish and co. for their dirty ass conduct over the course of this season tarnishing the league's rep. Your lakers have been the dirtiest crew in the league BY FAR.

5. Oh ya, Cavs and their bandwagonners .. keep sucking on Lebron's cock till you choke. :rollin
