Anthony became the first Denver player to score 30 or more points in five consecutive playoff games since 1976. He had 39 in the Game 1 loss.

Uh......No.

However, he sure opened my eys this post-season.

He's growing up and I'm really impressed by his play in the playoffs.

I was thinking about you Ducks. You are a simple creature with your primal, senseless hate.

Anyway, Melo has turned into a top 5 scorer, clearly. He is having a GREAT playoffs. If he keeps it up, I will give you top 3 hands down. He is arguably the best in the playoffs offensively, BUT James is playing just as well, easily.

I'm more impressed with his defense than I am of his scoring in the playoffs.

He's not better than James, but I do think he's the best pure scorer in the NBA. There's nothing on the offensive end he can't do, and his size only helps his case.

I've been saying the same thing for years. When his game is on, he's the best scorer in the league. He seems to have come out of the post-AI funk just in time. Throw in the inspired defense he's been playing and the maturity he's shown and he's suddenly in the conversation with James and Wade again.

He is certainly not better than James :)
