Magic lost tonight, but Lee was making big plays down the stretch and was showing unusual poise for a rookie. Lee is a shooting guard, and Mavs fans have been bitching about the lack of a shooting guard ever since Finley lost his legs.
The Magic got him with the 22nd pick.
Who had the 21st pick? The Nets.
Why'd they have the 21st pick? Because this bastard stepchild of a front office felt giving up TWO first rounders along with speed and youth was worth the worst starter in the league (Wright) and an aging washed up PG (Kidd).
