Whats the other option? JR Smith has no shot on Kobe and Melo was in foul trouble. Karl should have put in DJones.

I'd put Martin on Kobe before Carter; he's not big or strong enought to put up any real resistance without a double team. The way Denver was rebounding it wouldn't have made AC that much of a liability.
