That said, I don't really trust LA either. There were several times during the Houston series that they looked focused and ready to take over...then suddenly they became complacent again and gave away games they should have been winning. Just because they came into Denver and took advantage of the Nuggets stupidity is not really a sign that they are shifting the momentum in this series.

The series is 2-2 and they have to win a game in LA again. And they can pretty much bet the refs won't be on their side.

Also Pau Gasol has been so fucking consistent and kept the Lakers within the game.....then Kobe forced up stupid threes and missed a layup in the final 4 minutes

After the HOU series I pretty much know what this team is going to do on a given night. If the Lakers win the series it won't be because they are more talented than DEN or that they outplayed DEN, it will be because they are smarter than DEN.

The only problem for LA is that DEN can catch fire and steal one if they aren't careful. The Lakers will need to have the refs at least evenly officiate the game though if they want to win.

1) They already have won one in LA. I'm sure they can do it again.
2) The refs already weren't on the Nuggets side for that brief stretch of the 4th where the refs were trying to bring LA back by giving DEN two completely ridiculous techs.
