Just got the prompt for download. Haven't done it yet. Anyone else? And if you have, any issues that would make me not want it?

I haven't had a problem with Vista. Dummied down the processes and it works just fine for me.

I installed it a few hours ago. No problems so far. Not that I expect any. Vista has been a good OS for me.

Thanks. I'll wait a little while and see if I find some bad reviews/comments about it.

After all the horror stories I heard about Vista I was expecting to have to downgrade back to XP. I've had zero problems with it. Aside from it being a resource hog but once you dummy it down it becomes a non-issue. My tower has 8GB of RAM anyway so I could have gotten away with leaving it default if some of the extra shit didn't annoy me.

I only have Vista on one laptop. No real problems, but I didn't bother installing the 64-bit version because I'll just wait for Windows 7 to make that jump.
