I don't see it to be honest with you.

The way LA has been playing they'll be lucky to make it there, even if the refs help them out.

The Feds are watching these games like hawks. It maybe that they can't be so obvious anymore after the game fixing affair with Donaghy.

Laker fans were pissing their pants at the thought of facing the Blazers, so you should be grateful

Would a Magic-Nuggets Finals be more damaging to the NBA than the Phillies-Rays World Series was to baseball last year?

No, b/c you can market Carmelo and Dwight....Phillies-Rays was just a massive failure for tv ratings and the casual baseball fan

It'll be really hard to get joe six pack to care about melo-dwight when Lebron-Kobe has been shoved down everyones throat sinse the playoffs started.

You're not thinking like the NBA or a sports journalist.

Here's why Denver-Orlando would be terrible for TV ratings. Because as soon as that happens, what is the big story on ESPN, sports radio and sports columns? The story is that the NBA didn't get its dream matchup. The story is that not as many people will tune in for Nuggets-Magic. Sports talk will become ratings talk.

We will hear for two days how this was the least interesting possible matchup, and then they will move on to talking about A-Rod or some shit.

hey man...remember in 1999 when the NBA came door to door asking for 200 bucks each house to guarantee a couple rings for LA. They should do that again for next year. It turned out pretty good then.
