I forgot how much contact was allowed back then, however that was an end of game sequence and the refs always swallow their whistles except when lebron falls down. i don't care what chuck says, pietrus was back peddling and LBj fell because he was expecting more contact.

LeBron knew he was going to get a call if he drove, and he definitely got bailed the hell out.

I agree the refs definitely swallow whistles most of the time at the end of games, but this year it feels like every game we're getting 90 free throws a game for both teams. I know a lot of teams are driving to the hoop so naturally more free throws will be awarded, but it's also causing for a lot of clean blocks to be called as fouls.

It's all so very sad.
