David "KFC" Stern calls.
Nope. If the Lakers make it that far which is probably the case the lakers will beat them.
Its all about matchups babyyy

If the Magic win it all, ironic that Rafer gets a ring.

Amare Stoudemire is the premier PF in the league
I hate Rafer but he has me bamboozled after yesterday's game. I might be coming around :lmao
I was wrong. Now I don't get to say that often...well that quote is correct and he is, but he is NOT better than Dirk.

The only thing funnier than some fan sitting on his fat ass behind a computer "guaranteeing" something he has no control over is said fan starting a thread to talk himself up before he's even been proven right.

You and me both...
Perhaps Rafer is another case of the NBA Late Blooming Point Guard, ala Chauncy, Nash, etc.

magic would match up to the lakers pretty well. they could throw pietrus, lee, and even turkoglu at bryant. howard would match up against the lakers frontcourt and lewis would be quick enough to guard odom. and i'm sure even nelson in his street clothes could outrun fisher. magic just doesn't have a clear leader. nelson was developing to be that leader but too bad he got injured.

No they wouldn't. If you honestly think that Rashard Lewis can guard Pau Gasol you are insane. The magic are a true team. And I picked them over the best team (Record wise) in 4-5 games because they matchup better and the cavs can't do shit vs good teams. Likewise, you would see more or less the same if the lakers and magic were to matchup.

The difference between the Rockets and the Magic besides injuries is that our outside three point shooters are streaky as hell. We need consistant shooters at the three point line.

Even though the Cavs are down by 2 games and have to win the next 3 in a row to survive this series, that's still a practical mission for Cavs as long as they have Lebron Crab. Not to mention the help they may get from the league.
The Lakers would have Gasol and Bynum starting, Dwight will probably guard Bynum which leaves Lewis to Pau. They will have all the 3s they can shoot, but even more than before, whether they will win or not will hinge entirely upon their 3pt%

You did get a consistent shooter in the summer of last year, but that guy has been displayed in the closet and never gotten satisfying minutes he deserves. If the Rockets makes some move in this summer, I'm afraid Brent Barry will be the first one to be considered trading.

don't worry, gasol won't get the ball. kobe will be too busy thinking about becoming the finals mvp and jacking up shots. the majority of the time the lakers will probably use gasol and odom, leaving gasol to howard. both can't really guard each other so it could be a wash.

True, I think it's a travesty that Von Wafer got more minutes than Brent Barry.

Except for Francis and Cat, every ex-rocket plays much better after leaving Houston.
No worries Rafer will be back to his 2 for 9 self soon.

Brent should have been a perfect fit for the system of Adelman, but Von Wafer plays much more athletically and passionately, which earned him tons of love from the fan base, though he is just a scrub player who has been cut for many times by Lakers in the early years of his career.

Insightful, Rafer did show that kind of signs last night when he missed that wide open 3 and some other no-brain shots, though he dropped 26 and led his team to a win eventually.

That might happen if Kobe Bryant was still in his early 20s, now Kobe is a team player rather than a rebelling youngster as he used to be. Kobe is very urgent to get his 4th ring, which would prove he CAN win a ring without shaq.
And that would also prove Kobe greater than Shaq who hasn't won a ring yet since getting divorced with Kobe.

Shaq won in 06 with Wade.
