The San Antonio Silver Stars finished the 2008 regular season with the best record in the WNBA and a trip to the league finals.
That added national exposure has prompted more WNBA fans to purchase Silver Stars merchandise.
According to the WNBA, Los Angeles Sparks forward Candace Parker, the 2008 WNBA Most Valuable Player and Rookie of the Year, tops this year’s list of the WNBA’s most popular jerseys. That ranking is based on sales at the NBA Store in New York City and at WNBAStore.com from October 2008 through April 2009.
