View Full Version : Derek Fisher is detrimental to the Lakers

Phil Jackson will always stay loyal to his veteran players and this could very well deny him his 10th ring.
Derek Fisher is a flat out negative in just about every aspect of the game for the Lakers. They are winning games in spite of his play. He is absolutely horrid on defense, makes idiotic decisions on offense, and simply can't hit wide open shots anymore. He gave this Laker organization so much and I am grateful for that, but it is time for him to hang it up and retire.
He has no business starting in the NBA. No business.

Even when he'd struggled in the past, he used to at least be able to contribute the "intangibles" to the game (drawing charges, making clutch steals, etc.) now he seems to just be a jumpshooter who's shot is wilting.

If Shannon Brown took all over Fisher's minutes this would be a markedly different series.
Derek Fisher is hands down the single worst player left in the playoffs playing any sort of minutes.

No he is not, have you seen him play? Even LA fans are saying it, he is playing horrible right now and tonight is no different late.

You might want to keep him around, if there is 0.4 left on the clock.

Fisher is sucking on purpose
He even passed up a 3 tonite.
He clearly wants out of L.A, he wants to go to a team that can win the championship
