I thought everyone did a good job at his songs, although Jamie Fox butchered one of his best. Taylor Swift did the best job out of all of them. The tribute was far more interesting then game 5. Anyone else watch? Comments.

Are you serious, Jamie Foxx was one of the best!

I was watching. What was up with Montgomery Gentry singing Alabama and Martina singing Garth. I know Garth was the last winner but Alabama?!

Yeah I actually didn't hate Jamie Foxx's singing. That is one of my favorite songs though so I wouldn't have minded if he sang a different one instead

Alabama won the award the decade before Garth.

Alabama was the artist of the decade for the 80's. Keith Urban was awesome singing Marty Robbins.

Too bad I missed it then.

Hopefully it will be floating around the internets sometimes soon.

I only saw less than an hour, it was not bad. I was totally knocked out by Keith Urban singing Marty Robbins!!

So if George is the 5th honoree, and Marty Robbins, Alabama, and Garth came before him, who was the other one? I'm gonna guess Reba, but did they mention it?

Can't be Reba:
1980's was Alabama
1990's Garth Brooks
2000- 2009's George Strait

It was Loretta Lynn for the 1970's

Strait said he was “truly honored” to receive the distinction amidst the shining tributes.

“It's almost … like this was a farewell deal, but I’m not ready to go yet,” he mused.
