I think you'd have to pry Dhow from their cold dead hands. I'd gladly give up stoudamire and nash to get dhow.

That will never happen though, as the Cavs have got so much bad assets that they can hardly clear up enough salary room for Yao by the summer of 10. Besides, the Cavs will have to set down Lebron James before considering any FA, but the remaining space will rationally be pretty limited after Lebron eats his share.

Not only that but Les Alexander isn't that stupid. Yao still owns Dwight in head to head matchups.

That only matters if they meet up in the finals.

Am I surprised a rocketfan made this thread? Honestly, yes. I knew they were the stupidest fans on this board. But they are just reaching new levels.

Rockets should keep their old squad IMHO, but I don't think the Rockets will accept the 50m/5yr deal that required by Ron Artest. The prize is fairly proper for Ron's level but the length makes it almost unacceptable to the Rockets administrators, especially their cheapass owner. It's presumable the Rockets will sign & trade Ron for another player of the same prize yet a shorter contract, like Steve Nash.

Magic would never ever do this crap trade. Yao may end up in Cleveland in 2010 but only if LBJ is in NY.

The Rockets have a good team. All they need to do is get rid of McGrady and use that money on another superstar and they're set. Assuming Yao can stay healthy, they have a legitimate chance at winning the title.

Why would either one of these teams want to do this trade? Rockets and Magic would not purpose this trade at either end.

Exactly, only on condition Lebron leaves Cleverland can the Cavs afford a huge contract yao is supposed to get, but I don't think Yao will join a James-less lottery team even though the owner of it is also chinese.

T-Mac isn't a big burden for Rockets any longer IMHO, with his 23 million off the book the Rockets will vacate enough space to land another superstar like Lebron Crab and Lebron is probably willing to join the Rockets, considering Houston's big population and the huge market behind Yao. The Rockets still can play at an elite level even with 23m salary being wasted, now the pressing issue to deal with is Ron Artest.

What is Artest's contract? And how many years left on it?
And what is Lebron making per year? The Rockets can dump Artest and use his money along with that 23 mil to sign Lebron. With Lebron they don't even need Artest anymore. Rockets will be a dynasty for sure.

Yup. He had a one year with the Rockets for 8.45 mil, they didn't extend him.

So then the Rockets would have close to $32 million worth of extra money? :wow

I don't see how they can't sign another superstar or lure Lebron for that matter. All the incentives are there. Unless there's something I don't know about.

Rocket fans should take their money to Richmond for some table dances instead of blowing it at Scott on the rock cocaine.
