Whats Affliction going to do when Fedor leaves he is on every card.

yeah having an org based around 1 fighter = bad idea.
and a clothing line that lives & dies by the bad tastes in clothing by trendy southern Californian douche bags isn't so good either.
They have made a ton of money tho. I mean good for them but styles come & go fast. They were the number 1 sponsor of the UFC and I still don't understand why they didn't use their money to make gear. They could have easily cornered the market and likely still could before Everlast finds a way to get in.

Who knows dude. If you buy into all the rumors, his MGT are nuts and want insane things from the UFC. But if he has no place else to go, i suppose he will end up there or just retire..

and with the luck of old PRIDE fighters Fedor will probably be hosting a dozen injuries and fight like shit

Standing Brock wins, on the ground Mir wins.......Its been a while since brock has fought so im sure his ground game is the main focus. Why are you worried?

I rewatched Mir's fight with Nog and he just looked outstanding on his feet. Granted Nog, was not 100% and is a slow starter but Mir seems to have a new confidence. On the ground he is so good. You can probably count the heavyweights on one hand with true A+ level JJ off their back and Mir is one of them. Brock has big power and will take Mir down whenever the hell he wants, but getting caught again in something has me worried. Mir won't just turtle up like Herring did. He will go for subs.. My hope is Brock keeps it up and KO's Mir..
Still picking Brock though for sure, just a little concerned.

Mir also has a history of beating large heavyweights that are good strikers.

Well Sylvia is really the best striker he beat. Mir has never shown great striking before the Nog fight. Remember Vera just pounding him out, in like 2 min at UFC 65? It's his subs that have me worried..
updated rumored card.
Looks solid! Not a PPV draw for the common fan but good lineup.
Gegard Mousasi vs. Renato Sobral
^ cannot wait.

I am having the worst kind of deja vu:
It's the middle of last summer and Fedor/Tim Sylvia are fighting on ppv. I'm stuck in the middle of BFE Michigan at my folks' house with no cable, dial-up internet and no sports bars around for hundreds of miles. This year, Fedor and Josh Barnett are fighting on ppv in the middle of summer and I'm going to be stuck in the middle of BFE Michigan at my folks' house, still with no cable, dial-up internet and no sports bars around for hundreds of miles.
Damn the dinosaurs to Hell.
that sounds like not much fun
