I went into thise store for the first time today...man that store has some great stuff for kitchen stuff. But it is really expensive. I saw a pepper mill, which is what I was looking for, the cheapest one was 20 dollars. I was like god damn!!...but regardless of that, they do have alot of things there that are cool.

The only thing I don't understand why they sell is glass cutting boards.

P.S. I ended up buying a pepper mill at Wal-Mart....for 9 dollars. What would I do without Wal-Mart?

never been in there. All i know is that when I go in that Bath and Body Works store with my girlfriend, man does that place smell good!

Actually it's nothing like Bath and Body Works....I used to get the names confused alot...but now that I've been to the stores, I realize they are nothing alike.

BB&B sells shit for the kitchen and stuff. Sorta like Home Depot...without all the hardware shit..and plumbing stuff.

BB&B is awesome. So many gadgets.

Most of the gadgets they have there are worthless....I saw an egg beater...wtf? It's basically this cheap small plastic whisk that is probably good for nothing else.

I was just in there last night. Bought an Aerobed. Was tempted to buy a whole lot of other shit I didn't need, but fortunately got dragged out.

But there's always the web site . . .

I'm a sucker for gadgets man. If I spent money in that store, I'd never use half the stuff, but I just find them neat.

Duff McCartney
03-29-2005, 08:19 PM
Well in all fairness, all I saw was the kitchen stuff...I'm sure the other side had some cool gadgets.

Duff, have you ever been to Williams-Sonoma, there's one in North Star. And another set for The Shops at La Cantera.

http://ww5.williams-sonoma.com/cat/index.cfm?CID=ctlspri&bnrid=3160501&cm_ven=Google&cm_cat=Search&cm_pla=General&cm_ite=pepper%20mills

Talk about expensive.

Duff McCartney

What the fuck? 80 dollars for a pepper mill? That's fucking ridiculous. I thought paying 20 bucks for one was ridiculous.

Bed, Bath, and Beyond and Linen-N-Things are the same type of stores. I get those 20% off coupons all the time and you can use the BBB ones at LNT.

That is the best store ever. Right up there with Crate and Barrel, but with better pricing. I already have too many kitchen appliances I don't know what to do with them (I've used my fondue pot a total of ... once) since my family feels it necessary to buy me kitchen equipment (I should bust out the ice cream maker for the next GTG actually).

I've had to drag Manny out of there before - he didn't want to go, but then discovered the gadgetry. And it was all downhill from there. All I wanted was a damn knife.

And Duff, you can get pepper from the grocery store that comes with its own grinder for like $4, that's what I use.

WTF???

Everybody has to have a Zippo. At least for the guys...I don't smoke...(ciggarrettes... :angel )..but if you go to a bar or club and a girl smokes. You can light her up with your zippo that you always carry.... :hat

Thats what I buy too, but there is NOTHING better than cracked pepper.

BB&B does rock, in my house, thats where all my bedding, and bathroom accessories have come from.

ShoogarBear

BB&B made we want to buy a ceiling-suspended pot rack.

Fortunately, they didn't have the one I wanted in stock. Otherwise, I would have brought it back home and then emerged from my trance with a great big "WTF?"
