IMO, they should give out the MVP after the playoffs are done.

It doesn't matter because D.Wade should have been MVP anyway.

Because LeBron averages 35/9/7 in the playoffs?

Lebron James is the most valuable to his team compared to any other player. w/o Lebron it would be a miralce if the Cavs go into the PO's. Can't say the same for the Lakers.

If kobe loses in the Finals than people will say Dwight Howard should have been MVP.

Lebron James is the best player in the league right now IMO.

Nah as much as I hate to say it LeBron deserved it. DWade to me is a close second but its LeBron. Seeing that team in the ECF I am shocked they won 66 games with that roster. It says alot that the East Coaches did not vote any player from the Cavs on to the All Star team. Its an indictment of the other East teams that the Cavs won 66 games with just LeBron basically. However this was the Cavs best chance at the title. Next season they have to deal with Orlando and the return of KG in Boston. Plus whatever team in the East gets better over the summer.

Plus the MVP is for the regular season and LBJ led his team to the best record and was undoubtly the most vaulable and dominant to his team than any other player.

There is an MVP that acknowledges post season play as well and that's called the Finals MVP.

The Heat and Hornets would be downright scary without them

ummm Chris Paul? Dwyane Wade?

Chris Paul sure as shit showed how valuable he was in the playoffs shooting 40%, committing 5 turnovers a game, and falling down like a little bitch. quitting like a pussy on your home crowd as the Hornets got decimated by 58 doesn't help his case either.

Lol CP3

Cavs had a better record (the best in the league) and Lebron put up more impressive stats.

If Lebron wasn't the MVP this year then the MVP award is a joke. He was the definition of MVP this year. Carried a team that would be a bottom feeder in the west to the best record. Stats off the charts, he was even the MVP of my fantasy team. CP3 and Dwayne rivaled him for the better part of the first half of the season but they slowly lost steam while he gained.

Maybe it is not so much that he isn't the MVP but maybe its just that the MVP award doesn't correlate to the team success that we expect it to.

If the Cavs play in the west they get 55 wins max. Then you would hear about how LBJ deserves the MVP regardless of team sucess. Just the opposite of what we heard when Nash got the MVP over vastly superior numbers by Kobe.
