Hey I was curious who you guys think ARE the TOP 10 PLAYERS right now. Perceptions seem to change from year to YEAR and I'm sure it's ben done BEFORE but I'm just curious who you think are the top 10 PLAYERS.

1. Dirk Nowitzki
2. Lebron James
3. Kobe Bryant
4. D-Whistle the primadonna wheelchair faggot who doesn't have a ring
5. Dwight Howard
6. Tim Duncan
7. Brandon Roy
8. Kevin Garnett
9. Kevin Durant
10. Andre Iguodala-This guy is UNDERRATED. Can pass, elite defender, creates high volume of immediate basket area shots and makes over 72% of them. Only question is his OUTSIDE SHOOTING. SERIOUS

I always go back and FORTH on the last 2-3 . DISCUSS AMONGST YA SELVES

LOL @ people putting Durant on the list.

why not? the guy has some serious balls and has hit a shitload of clutch shots already (unfortunately his team is young and shitty so they would always end up giving up a big shot the next play to lose the game, so durants shots got overshadowed quite a bit. i cant count how many times that happened this year). he has one of the most complete offensive skill sets in the league already. he is a great athlete. has great size considering he has guard-like skills. i think he needs to bulk up a bit more, but i gotta admit, i underestimated the guy quite a bit. i think either next year or the year after, he could most definitely make a jump into top 5 in the NBA.

He hasn't done anything right now. He's shooting percentage is horrible and he doesn't contribute that much outside of scoring. Yes, he has gotten better, but top 10? CP3 is way better than him, I would put Durant in the top 20, but nowhere near the top 10.

His shooting percentage was horrible LAST year. I think he shot in between 47-49% this year. His offensive efficiency is quite imperssive.

At this point though he's just a scorer, a pretty DAMN good scorer though. The rest will come with time.

And the amount of attention the defense gives him because other than Westbrook and Green there's really no other offensive presence on that team. Whoever said his percentages suck are retarded, especially when you compare his percentages to almost all players in their 2nd season.

LeBron and Kobe are 1A and 1B, I don't care which way you rank them. An argument can be made for either of them. Wade is a centimeter below them. So there's your top three.

The next four in no particular order are Dirk, Duncan, Dwight and CP3.

They were like 2-22 at one point and got off to a horrible start under PJ. The 23-59 is not a reflection on Durant.

Next year they win at least 35 games I bet.

Lol Durant is just as good as Rashard Lewis

I actually think I said he was a poor man's Rashard Lewis. But, yeah, that was dumnity jones. I still don't think he's as great as some of you do, but I was pretty stupid when I made those comments... although, Rashard Lewis is looking pretty good lately lol.

Some people here think Durant will be a top 5 player in the next couple seasons. I won't go that far. He's been much better than what I thought and said, but I don't think he's going to own the league.

Durant is too athletic for me to think he's not going to become an amazing player. 6'10" and he can get to the basket like a guard. Then again, maybe I'm conditioning on Finley guarding him. (not too much other TV coverage for the Thunder so far :lol )

He hasn't done anything right now. He's shooting percentage is horrible and he doesn't contribute that much outside of scoring. Yes, he has gotten better, but top 10? CP3 is way better than him, I would put Durant in the top 20, but nowhere near the top 10.

The WEIRD thing about DIRK is he IS a top 5-8 player and was probably (DEFINITELY) a top THREE player from 2005-2007. yet I KID you NOT I have seen some stupid opinions about beloved Dirk at times, such as J-Ho being the best PLAYER on the team (Tim Legler may have said this) or even JASON TERRY (Mashburn?). I've also seen people claim he's not a top fifteen PLAYER and question his hall of fame CREDENTIALS and consider him a STAR, not a superstar. a CROCK all of it I tell you.

Now there are some legitimate criticisms about his marginal DEFENSIVE impact but I think the bottom line is, if you LEAD a team to an NBA CHampionship, like dirk did in 2006, you ARE a world class PLAYER. The CHOKER label holds no merit because 2007 appears to be an ANOMALY rather than the TREND.

his defense has definitely regresed due to the combination of age and injury

Son, re-read my post. I was quoting someone else who called him a "bitch on the court." They said they would take Durant over Paul. RsxPimp laughed, and I posted the gif. Then he said:
paul can be a bitch on the court, true, but that doesnt make durant better than him. That is when I said some people wouldn't want a "bitch on a court." Sure Manu flops, everyone in the league does. But that flop by CP3 was horrendous. I would suggest you take some reading lessons before calling people out.
