I wouldn't do it. Amare is worse than Bynum on D. Plus, Ariza is DA MAN.
Edit: typo

NO, Bynum is better defensively we dont need more scoring we need D, and Ariza is perfect for us

Maybe Amare for Odom would have worked but no way the Lakers do this deal.

Odom will become a free agent after the Lakers beat the Magic in the finals, and I don't think the Suns want a sign&trade just to get him. Amar'e has tons of flaws but he still is a pretty consistent scorer, rather than a rambling clown who plays one good game every 6 games, while playing like a trash in the rest 5 games.

Yea but Amare comes off the books after 09-10 season if he's gonna bolt I'm sure the Suns will want some value for him...I have no idea what kind of package they would want though.

LA would be dumb to sign and trade Odom for Amare. Amare might be a better individual talent but Odom can facilitate the triangle while the other bench players are on the court. I'd be surprised if Amare even knew what a triangle was.

I was expecting one reply, maybe two... haha I made one mistake, I could probably say lebron for Bynum and every LA fan would say no way.

"Fuck off! Of course I know what a triangle is. It looks kind of like... ummm... like this."

What Ariza does can be duplicated by a dozen swingmen who you can probably get for less money. He's a very nice fit in LA and it would be a shame to give him up, but if you can get Stoudemire for Babyfats, you should do it.

NO, Bynum is better defensively
In what respect, Charlie?
