The line just got a little thinner.

Realtime damage, a full physics engine.... this is going to be the best version of GT ever created. Polyphony doesn't go halfway on anything they design.

Forza 3 looks great, but I think GT has a bit of an edge as far as how it looks. Of course, the gameplay will be the determining factor, but has a GT game ever played poorly? I think both will make insanely excellent, must-have racing games.

Great video of Forza 3 in action:

Since the first GT was released, this looks like it will be the biggest war between competing racing games in over two generations of consoles.

F-Zero for SNES is still my favorite all-time racing game. i wish people could make their own tracks for it on emulators, so i could try something new.
Death Wind 2 always kicked my ass though.
Red Canyon 2 was the best racing course in video game history.

I remember the first time I got GT1, I got stuck on a license test and put the game away for 4 months :lol
Picked it up again over the summer and pass the license, played non-stop till I beat the game.

I don't see what is all that special about that trailer. The graphics are underwhelming if I'm being honest. I expected a lot better from the new GT game. It gets better near the end, but the beginning sort of sucked.

Knowing my experience the times I played GT1 and 2, I will probably buy this game. The customization that you could actually tell the difference if you changed the suspension on your front tires...
Sick.

Is Turismo a ps3 exclusive?

Yeah, it is, Heath. I thin Forza will probably be just as good. Everyone thought that Forza was better than GT3 on the Xbox.

Forza was better than GT3. In fact, the last couple of GT iterations have been nothing spectacular, just very good racing games that looked amazing. This is the first actual re-design of the GT formula since... well, since the very first game. Knowing how much detail goes into these games, both Forza and GT5 will be absolutely incredible. I have to lean towards GT5 right now, because of the inclusion of rally and NASCAR modes. But whatever drives better will undoubtedly be the better game.

I thin GT is looking better, too. It all depends on how it plays, though.
