View Full Version : If there is a team capable of coming back down 0-2 it's the Magic

This series is not over.

The Magic have come from behind and pulled off crazy wins the entire playoffs. Yes they shot well tonight, but to think they aren't capable of shooting like this 2 more times at home is ludicrous.

This team can get hot and stay hot for an entire series, go ask Cleveland. The more I think about it the more I get worried that the Lakers may have blown their chance to put this series away. They can very easily end up going home 2-3. And if that happens it's anyone's game.

The worst thing the Lakers could do right now is associate this loss as a fluke occurrence. If they don't respect this Magic team they will lose this series.

agree. had the refs called game 2 fairly that earned kobe 4 crucial extra points to end the game it would've been 2-1 orlando.

if orlando wins game 4 then i think they will beat lakers in 7.

Congrats on 15

Lakers haven't lost 3 games in a row all year. if that trend is upheld its 3-2 LA going back to Staples.

Interesting thing about Game 3 is Magic only attempted 14 3 pointers.

Freakin' Orlando shot 62.5% and only won because Kobe lost it at the end. No way they win the series.

Some serious reverse jinxing going on. If the magic win the next game, they might be able to push the series to 7, but I still insist they needed to steal one of the first two games to have a chance. No way they can beat LA at home in a game 7. I wish they could...

no way... LA in 6...

In sport you never know everything can happen. Of course being so close of the win with Magic shooting 63% is an impressive outcome, lakers are clearly in a very good position but Magic almost stole a game in LA while shooting 40%: every game has a different story.

This game has been a copy paste of regular season with Rafer in the Jameer clothes, Fish is a liability on D, if Rafer keeps on the attacking mode shooting well, magic can give some trouble to this LA team.

I'll have to agree watching fisher guard Rafer is like watching nash on D.

no way, the lakers have the best closer in the game

Kobe game 1:
4th quarter? 1-5fg (doesn't really matter/blowout)
Kobe game 2:
4th quarter? 3 turnovers, 2-5fg
Kobe game 3:
misses 13 of his last 17 shots

lakers in 5 :tu

That is the mother of all insults. DoK is probably going to track you down in person and have talk about this...

Problem with Rafer is he's too quick for Fisher to play his bullshit old-man hand checking defense allowing Rafe to go by him any time he wants.

The Lakers are going to come out gunning in game4. The Magic will not shoot like they did the last game. Lakers in 5.

You got to tip your hats to the Lakers. They were the best team this year.

But . . . trivia question: what is the only NBA team to ever lose a Finals game to the freakin' Orlando Magic?

The Magic played a perfect game, as good a game as they'll ever hope to play, while the Lakers played a sub-par game, and still the Magic only won by 4 points.
No way the magic can win the series. NO WAY!!!!

The Lakers played a damn good game, they shot over 51%. They also kept the rebounding close in a game where there were not a lot of loose shots, they had 11 offensive rebounds, took 14 more shots than the Magic and kept turnovers in check.

The Magic played very well and should dip (especially the shooting), but the other categories have been close.

Someone else said it, Magic shot 30% less in game 2 and had a chance to win it. You have to take it with a huge grain of salt.
