Are these gritty Spurs back to back efforts totally cool or not?

Where the hell are Vescey's inane stories about Pop and the Spurs now?

All you naysayers and fair weather fans better get back on the bandwagon, it is leaving the station right now.

All you trolls thank you for your continuing wrong predictions. PLEASE KEEP THEM UP!

All the true fans stand up and applaud one of the most gratifying 3 game regular season streches in recent Spurs history!

Denver is a key game, but if they can win that one, SA shouldn't have any problems with the Kobettes or the Clips at home.

Denver is playing pretty damn well under Karl, and they have a bevy of big men to throw at SA, probably the best group SA has faced since Tim went out, with Kenyon, Camby, and Nene.

Vescey trashed Pop again last week harshly after Spurs lost to Knicks and Pacers as a terrible coach, they have a long history since Pop refused to bow down to a "great NY writer in his own mind" in a press conference. There was a thread here but cannot find it right now.

Devoid of Tim Duncan, the Spurs are about as good as the Lakers without Shaquille O'Neal. Making Gregg Popovich as good a coach without Duncan and David Robinson as Bob Hill was his final season in San Antonio. Thank goodness for breaks in the schedule that have the Hawks in San Antonio tonight. If only Davy Crockett had engaged such, ahem, competition." New York Post

I think this is what Vescey said last week.
