No way, the Grizzlies are D-League companion of the Lakers team even though they are also playing in the supreme league. It's a good news for not only the Lakers but also any other team in the league that the Lakers win the championship. If the Lakers failed to win the title this season, then they would commit another one or two more robberies on the Grizzlies in the off-season in order to move closer to the championship. A championship may make them stay silent for this summer at least, while the other contending teams like boys in blue can take this time to gain some improvement and make a strong shot for the championship next season. After the Mavs win their second champoinship in the summer of 10, the Lakers will have to make some changes by robbing the grizzlies again, this time their targets would be Rudy Gay and Mike Conley. Mayo will also become a Laker sooner or later, but he has to wait patiently until Kobe craps out and gives up the starting SG position.
