Tony Parker commented on the Manu Ginobili trade rumors on Thursday.

“I don't know why he said that, but I don't think he's going nowhere,” Parker said. “Everybody loves him here, and I love playing with him, and I don't think he's going anywhere.

“If I was him, I wouldn't second-guess anything. He's like God here. Come on, man. He speaks Spanish and everything. He's not going anywhere.”

Hopefully this puts an end to all the ridiculous trade proposals made by spurs fans..
You call yourself spurs fans when Manu is the heart and soul of the team.
Even our best scorer knows it.

I like hearing these kinds of comments from Tony and Pop. It should put to bed all the speculation that Manu would be traded and get back to the business of finding a few more role players to fit around the Big 3.
I don't remember who said it first, but I would hate to face another team in the Playoffs with Manu looking to show the Spurs that trading him was an epic mistake. When Manu is on the court, the rest of the team seems to find the next level of competition. Guys with this kind of confidence and clutch are really rare.
BTW, I think Fisher just demonstrated this same quality again for LA in game 4.

I don't know why anyone is expecting any trades.

We'll just replace Udoka and Vaughn and go with the same team we had last year. And pray Ginobli stays healthy enough to give us a chance in the playoffs.
