I just mentioned because nothing worse than seeing a talented guy waste his potentila in a one horse town and end up going to a place like boston when he's 30+ to win a ring.

I think after lakers win, magic won't be seeing the finals for a while because their team is just not as good as people think.

I don't think alston will ever be comfortable playing behind Jameer and will have problems nxt year.

And Jameer as we have seen does not have the highest bball IQ.

Hedo is a great player, but he's gna be an FA and will be probably sign elsewhere.

Rashard Lewis is an overpaid scrub.

The only players with bright futures are gortat and lee, the rest should go play in the NBDL or something.

I think magic should rebuild, and trade howard for some good young pieces and build around, their franchise paid player rashard...

Seriously I don't see howard staying in magic when his contract is up.

I think howard would be a good fit for the lakers too.

I think this guy is somethign special, eventhough he will never develop an offensive game, he deserves to win, and I don't think it will ever happen with the Magic, that is all.

Wasted talent or potential really sucks, and i'd rather not see it in any sport.

Only way Howard becomes a contender outside of LA is if he teams up with LeBron or Wade.

Dwight in Miami with Wade/Beasley/Chalmers would be a fearsome combo.

I don't think Howard will ever develop the leadership skills necessary to lead a team to a title, if you ever watch him in post game interviews, there is no killer instincts and he's always all smiles, like a big kid playing a Man's game in a Man's body.

Come to think of it, I wouldn't call Shaq a leader either, I don't see him doing half the thing Kobe does to lead his team. Dwight definitely needs somebody to push him to the next level, otherwise he will just be stuck in mediocrity for his NBA career, and that would be tragic. Too bad it wasn't KAJ coaching him instead of ewing.

Usually if your team is in the finals, you are a contender.

I don't think the Magic are good enough to beat the best in the West.

Seriously, if DH is a franchise player, why does he have to be traded to a contender?

Alot of Spurs fans bitch about it but I think Kobe did an awesome job two seasons ago:

Bitch and moan and make a big stink until the front office gets pressured to gets him some help or trade his ass.

Yes, let's trade out 23 year old star center for multiple scrubs that are YOUNGER.

Next thing we know, NBA will be like soccer, signing players when they're 15 years old. Seriously, what is with this obsession. You guys act like if your team's average age is over 27, you need to rebuild for the future. I think Fish just proved to us that experience will win you championships.

You sir, are an idiot.

The Magic are up 3-1 in this series if they could simply make their damn FTs...and even with those missed FTs, they had a chance to win both OT games at the end of regulation, but didn't convert.

to me, that is a contender

I disagree, you could say the Mav's would be contenders after 06, but where are they now? I think the similar will happen to the magic as they will never reach the finals for years to come.
