If you want to win playoff games you need to analise and preview situations and I'm pretty sure that's why Malik was traded for Narz. You need to realise that if that possibility becomes true you need to be aware of your "strengths"
and how it matches against your opponent so that's why I'm talking about it now. :fro

Very eloquently put...Wally....
So by your deduction....Miami would sweep the Spurs...because they are a better team. It's all about health when considering these claims...

I don't see Miami taking 4 straight from a team on a 19-game winning streak.

Malik was traded for the cap relief pop said so himself.

Heat would win.

Some people are missing the point of the question, which is a good one.

The 2004 Lakers beat a Spurs team that had a lot fewer questions going into the playoffs than this year's Spurs will have.

So if you accept the premise that the 2005 Heat are better than the Lakers, then there's a real possibility they can beat the Spurs.

Of course, last year a lot of you (you know who you are) were saying there was no way the Lakers would win that series.

We were 4 tenths-of-a-second away from winning that series.

We still could have won the series even with 0.4*.

We didn't.

And, to repeat, is this year's Spurs team going to go into the playoffs playing better than last year's?
