What does that say about the efficiency of the Spurs organization given their success? I would say SA is in first place.

What's interesting is that Donald Sterling has got more jack than Jerry Buss.

Funny, seeing how Holt is just the majority owner. He owns like 30% of the team. But he holds the largest amount so he's the majority owner.
There's many more owners besides Holt. One being David Robinson.

Yes they do. But Holt holds the biggest piece of the pie.
I believe Frost also owns a share in the Spurs.

When you're the owner, they let you lie about your age.

jesus, i think Tim duncan has more money than his boss.
I also thought mark cuban had like 15 billion dollars, maybe he really took a loss with those maverkicks and all of his fines huh?

When you're the owner, they let you lie about your age.
as well as your NFL experience and your "trip" to the Little League World Series.

I am not sure where it is listed. I know I got a list of the team owners that don't mind being public with my season ticket package. Some of the owners are "silent partners" that are not known by the general public.
And we're supposed to feel bad about the fact that the Owner with the least dough manages to put together a playoff team and title contender, year-in and year-out?

Scouts, coaching, and fan support make it happen way before an owner[s].

We should only feel bad when players we like are traded away.

Props to him for not fielding a playoff team in the past what, 5 years?
Sweet. We matter more than Holt. :)

The group of individuals that own the spurs (excluding the corperations) is worth several billion dollars.

I'd say it has more to do with being fortunate enough to draft Robinson and Duncan with #1 picks.

You look at that list and the only winner (championships) in the last little while are all guys lower down the line, with exception to Detroit. The guys that have money doesn't really equate to winning on the court...interesting indeed.

Cuban was one of the very first Internet billionaires. I think he sold broadcast.com for $1B about 10 years ago. I'd bee surprised if he has multiplied it 15x since then. I couldn and would relax and enjoy a single $B.

Cuban didn't make his money just once, he made it twice.
He sold it at the top and Shorted it all the way back down.
The Guy made a great move.
At the peak of his wealth, he was probably worth somewhere close to 4.

yeah after Hakeem, and before Yao,
the Rockets were always at the top of spending teams.

Didn't see him match on Posey either.
The Rockets' payroll has been remarkably steady for the past few years. It stayed right around 50 million for three seasons until Yao came into the picture; that seems to have loosened the purse strings as their spending is going up 10% each year since.
Once again, The Spurs manage to do the mostest with the leastest.

They didn't match because Posey didn't fit the Van Gundy offense and Jim Jackson did. Also, West gave a contract double what any other team offered.
