Normally i can never tell if another guy is attractive or not, but Like If someone had down syndrome or something , yea I could tell.

But i was surfing youtube and that little gay band that covered Lollipop, framing hanley, supposedly has a very hot lead singer because as I was scrolling through the comments, thats all it said for hundreds of pages. This kind of hit me as a big WTF, because this whole time I thought he was some little emo douche with straightened hair and a eyeliner.

That's the point. Things haven't gotten weirder or crazier, just the social norms have shifted. The kid in the OP probably gets a ton of attention from girls, whether he's gay or straight.
