Rumors abound that teams like the Spurs, Cavs and Trailblazers are seriously looking at signing him this summer. At this point in his career does he still think about making that elusive jump?

Thanks to BLACKJACK21.

So is it safe to say that Spurs believe that George Hill's true position is SG?
I find it really odd at the amount of interest point guards have been getting from the Spurs.

I have said many times I feel Hill will be traded. He showed himself very well and if he leads to a bigger piece it is a move the Spurs have to make, although it hurts the future.

If the Spurs can find guys a little older and more NBA ready to fill that spot, or get a better pg but lesser player via the draft then Hill becomes a trading chip.

I like Hill and hope he stays, but I can see him traded for sure.

It sounds like Pop hasn't found his ideal backup point guard.

Once again KBP was proven right and the rest of wrong. Yet another time I am owed apology here.

While Hill being dealt isn't completely out of the realm, signing a guy like McIntyre isn't an either or.

McIntyre would essentially be a Vaughn replacement/insurance policy that wouldn't be the offensive liability.

Hill, while I do see him playing time at the point, I think will be used more along the lines of a Barbosa/Ellis at the 2.(different skill-sets buit similar in build)

I found your thread when looking to see if McIntyre had one for me to post the article, so props on a good call.:toast

I haven't had a chacne to see him play but from what I've seen of him statisically, looks like the guy can definitely shoot the ball.

I've read that he can cause a little havoc defensively, as far as steals go, but I'm interested in knowing if he's more of a gambler or a good to decent defender? Allen Iverson or Brevin Knight, I guess would be a good question?

Would you compare him to J.J. Barea, at all?(Size-wise and offensively)

He is a good defender. His best comparison as a player is Tim Hardaway not Barea.
