Tony Parker at bball camp and brings some friends

Tony was at camp today and brought along some friends most notably Boris Diaw, Ronny Turiaf and soccer great Thierry Henry. Parker along with Turiaf and Diaw took part in some 5-on-5 with the campers. What a thrill for those lucky campers today.

The video is from yesterday and they are all in San Antonio. Tony's Paris camp will be in early July. Pop will attend.

Lucky-ass kids. When I went to Spurs camp, the only player who showed up was Eddie Nealy. It was cool to play with Neals for a couple of hours, but we were all pissed because we were promised the chance to play with Alvin Robertson when we signed up and he never showed. I don't mean to diminish Nealy showing up though; he was picking us up and letting us dunk and all kinds of other cool stuff, and we all really enjoyed playing with him.

I spent some summers at the Sonics camp in the late 90's, early 00's. They did okay with players showing up. Rashard Lewis, Brent Barry, Jerome James (:vomit:), Detlef Schrempf, Dale Ellis, Ruben Patterson, Desmond Mason, Vladimir Radmanovic, Calvin Booth, Reggie Evans. They played with the kids and gave away bunches of autographed stuff. Most of them were really nice.

Nate McMillan spoke a couple of times. All the kids always wanted Payton but he never showed.
