Wait so only 5 pick count?

We always did pick 5. UFC 99 had 6 fights on the main card so i counted all those for everyryone who picked 6. We can count all the fights here if you guys want or just pick any of the 5?? Desflood suggested we put the option in of picking undercard fights, not just main card and it was a good idea..

Damn, I either didn't give Wilks enough credit, or Johnson flat-out choked (Quite literally, I guess:lol) Very impressed with Wilks. I didn't realize he had those type of transitions, or basically much of what he had, in his arsenal. Props to Wilks.(Looks like he does have something worth teaching)

Lytle, I love watching that dude fight. He just seems like he's going to submit himself by throwing his arm out of the socket with how hard he throws those punches. It's almost as if he swings for the fences with every punch. Those body-blows were really getting to Burns. Lytle's toughness is a given but Burns is one tough sonbitch, as well. Hell of a fight.

I thought Winner edged Pearson up until the last seconds, then I wasn't so sure. It probably could have gone either way but if that round had been much longer, there's a good chance Pearson stops it the way he finished the round. Wasn't much of an aesthetically pleasing fight but a pretty grueling/hard-fought one, with the amount they were in the clinch and the familiarity between the two. Both should have a future in the UFC.

Sanchez-Guida... That was some of the most hilarious mean-muggin I've ever seen. Funny or not, that was one of the most intense/insane first minutes of a fight I've seen in a long while. The way they came out almost looked like to average joes in a bar fight, only the skill-level and technique was actually there. I'm not a Diego fan but I can't remember off the top of my head someone coming out of the gates and doing that to Guida. His standup was pretty impressive with those uppercuts and he just seemed to have Guida's timing for most of the round. Guida is an absolute freak of nature. I'm not going to lie, I was rooting like hell for him. He's just got one of those Cabbage chins and more heart and energy than any one man should have. I think Diego definitely had a 10-8first, he might have stolen rd.2 with those elbows from the bottom, but I gave Guida the 3rd. Just another great, great, fight.

I lurk here pretty often, since I don't usually get to see as much as I'd like, but those who contribute on here do one hell of a job keeping people like myself informed.

Thanks.:toast

Sanchez vs Guida was a SUPERB fight, and even better than I thought it would be. I'm a Sanchez fan, and to see someone finally slug it out with him was amazing. That kick to the head in the first round was unreal, and Guida jumped right back up like nothing. That's all heart right there, and I hope Guida will get a re-match when...wait for it...Sanchez takes the belt from the winner of the KFlo/BJ fight. There's no one else at 155 that deserves a title shot like Sanchez and he will take it in 5 rounds!

Pretty dissapointed by the TUF fighters, not really sure any of them will make an impact in their divisions, but Wilks should get a fight or two to see if he can shine in the UFC.

Great stuff from Sanchez-Guida...mostly Sanchez though. How a judge gave that fight to Guida is beyond me...

I had it 30-26 Sanchez. Guida made the 2nd and 3rd close by getting a takedown and staying on top some, but he just didn't do anything else really. A couple elbows and hammerfists? Diego delivered more damage off his back, and attempted subs. At best, Guida gets the 2nd rd and loses 29-28 or 29-27 depending on how you score the 1st rd. That was as 10-8 ass beating IMO though.

Lots of discussion about the scoring...FightMetric had it 30-26...

Props to Guida for hanging in there and taking big punishment, but he just didn't do much outside of show cardio, heart, and a couple takedowns, which is about all he ever does. His stand-up is horrible, he can't pass the guard, and his subs are weak against top guys...

It was a very interesting fight. Seeing it live i felt like there was a time when the fight might be getting away from Diego. He tried so hard to take out Clay in the 1st and he was slowing down in the 2nd. But the fight was lost for Clay when he got nailed with all those elbows from the bottom. They were brutal and did a lot of damage.. Kind of felt about this one like i did about Hardy and Davis. Yeah Davis outwrestled him, but he took way more damage and lost the fight on that merit alone for me..

I don't want to say I'm a casual fan, because I love the sport and try to watch it whenever I get a chance, but I'm one of these d-bags that's much too reliant on SPIKE TV.

I've always been a sports fan but never became a diehard sports fan until about '02. (I used to have much more destructive and questionable ways of spending my free time;)) I replaced one sickness with another (Spurs) and I'd say MMA is starting to creep it's way up there.(If Timmy and Manu's extremities keep going the way of Barbaro, though???)

I've been a loyal follower of The Ultimate Fighter show since season 1 and feel I've got a pretty decent grasp of what the hell's going on, but my depth of knowledge is shit compared to most of the people that contribute here.

Again, appreciate the props and if there's something I feel that I can talk about without sounding like a fool, I'll make sure to post. (Maybe even make some picks if they're people I'm familiar with :hat)

That's why you picked Guida to win this :)

He needs a better camp, somebody that can teach him something other than cardio. Right now he just looks like the poster child for Adult ADHD.

the Series was fantasitic and I haven't seen a better MMA fight than Guida Sanchez in a long time. I gave Guida the 2nd with a final score of 29-27 Sanchez.

This was for sure one of the better seasons of TUF but I didn't see anyone that stands out either. But you never know down the road...

At the least they found some good talent that will fill some Euro cards and at least we will know who they are.

I think Wilks could become a champion.

I DL'd the rest of the un-aired fights last night...gonna try to watch them tonight.

Sounds like Tibau got F'd by the judges...which cost me a nice parlay win :bang

<--- retired from gambling (until I go to UFC 100 at least)
