I have a 3 day weekend since we're given Friday the 3rd off and don't know what I want to do, I only know that I want to do something. Who else has a long weekend and what is everybody planning?

I'm hauling the monster pit down to a relatives ranchito and cooking/eating lots of BBQ brisket, ribs, and sausage and drinking lots of shiner bock.
Don't know yet, but hopefully it involves beer, bbq, and some body of water.

Working. I make double time and a half for working on holidays. After work, I'll help my dad celebrate his birthday. Yes, his birthday is July 4th.

A friend of mine and her kid are staying with me for a few weeks, does anyone know of any kid friendly places to go for the 4th, or where a decent fireworks show will be?

I'm going to pop these bad ass fireworks that I bought from Walmart. I hope I don't get caught. You pull the little rope and POW! Its like an atomic blast, but much smaller.

Working all day. Fortunately for me, work will involve live music all day, running the grill, and $2.33 pints of beer.
