Yeah Jon's lazy, some of the time. But Kate's a bitch all the time. Every episode I've seen, she's bagging on him. He tries cooking a meal for her and the kids, she complains about him being in the kitchen. They go out for Halloween, she complains that he walks too fast. If she would take less time complaining about him and all the work she has to do and actually do some of that work, maybe she'd get a breather more often.

It's really sad. I used to love the show in the first few seasons when they lived in the other house and they showed how they just got by in their everyday life. About these people... from the way it sounds this Kate is a very controlling woman who needs a strong, dominant man to keep her bs in line by not putting up with it. I greatly prefer the " eighteen kids and counting" parents. The mom on that show always behaves in such a kind and gracious manner.
And I like the team work and mutual respect between the Duggar parents.
Jon and Kate had less kids than the Duggars and yet always seemed so much more stressed out.

I have seen some episodes of both "Jon and Kate plus 8" and "Eighteen kids and counting."

I greatly prefer the " eighteen kids and counting" parents. The mom on that show always behaves in such a kind and gracious manner.
And I like the team work and mutual respect between the Duggar parents.
Jon and Kate had less kids than the Duggars and yet always seemed so much more stressed out.
Granted Jon and Kate have very young sets of mulitiples so that is a lot of diapers and teething etc to deal with at once.

IUI = intrauterine insemination, wherein a catheter is inserted through the cervix, into the uterus and fresh semen is deposited into the uterus via catheter, timed to ovulation. In some cases (certainly in J&K's case) they were on fertility drugs to stimulate extra follicles.

I have heard, but don't know if it's substantiated, that the actual IUI was cancelled due to overstimulation (happened to a good friend of mine with IUI#2). Meaning, she had too many follicles of good size to risk an IUI, which would make her likely to conceive HOM (high order multiples). So they went home and sexed it up and conceived HOM anyway.

Either way, there is a difference in IUI/IVF, and IVF gets a bad enough rep with irresponsible doctors like the one who put multiple embryos in octomom. That is unethical and shouldn't have been allowed.

Yikes. :lol What I heard this morning on the Today show was that there was a court document that was misread. The editor of People, who they have on on a regular basis (daily for the past few days now) has interviewed Kate a few times. The editor, who happens to be named Kate as well, said that the court document said they have "lived separate lives" for the past two years. Which they really have. Kate has been off doing book crap and Jon has stayed with the kids when she's done that. And then when she came back he would go take a break from it. So, in all honesty, that's not far from the truth. But, living apart I found hard to believe. So, when that was clarified it was a big relief.
